In a groundbreaking move for Pakistani entrepreneurs, IT Minister Umar Saif has announced the launch of the BridgeStart program. This initiative is set to support 100 startups annually, providing them with the opportunity to participate in top global incubators and accelerators.
Inspired by the success of renowned programs like YCombinator and 500 Startups, BridgeStart aims to address the common challenge of limited resources faced by startups. Qualifying startups will receive up to Rs 5 million, covering essential expenses such as travel and accommodation while they engage in these prestigious international programs. The BridgeStart program is designed to accelerate the growth of Pakistani startups by connecting them with advanced systems and funding opportunities, ultimately enhancing their potential to scale globally.
